Pixim opens China headquarters

Pixim Inc. said Wednesday it opened a new Hong Kong headquarters to expand its services into China and Taiwan.
Mountain View-based Pixim said the new location will provide sales and
support for the company's digital imaging system, consisting of image
sensors, image processors, camera reference design kits, and key
software and algorithms for camera developers.
The company said China and Taiwan each produce about 1 million
surveillance cameras per month, and China has become the world's
fastest-growing surveillance end market.
