Pixim Technology drives Clinton Electronics' PVMs

Pixim announced that its Digital Pixel System technology would drive Clinton Electronics’ line of Public View Monitors (PVMs).
Pixim is a provider of image sensors and processors for enterprise
security cameras while Clinton PVMs has a significant presence in major
retail outlets in the U.S., including national pharmacy and department
store chains.
Clinton Electronics is offering its PVM in three sizes; 20-inch,
26-inch and 32-inch. In addition to the PVMs, Clinton Electronics is
also offering Pixim-powered box- and dome-style security cameras.
Pixim's Digital Pixel System technology features hundreds of
thousands of self-adjusting pixels, each functioning like a standalone
camera. This helps it deliver highest total resolution, natural color
and clarity in all lighting conditions. This different video image
capture technology ensures that highlights and lowlights are accurately
captured and displayed in the same scene.
"For PVMs to be effective, it's crucial that image quality be
excellent and that it remain consistent even in highly variable
lighting conditions," stated Dan Clinton, head of marketing for Clinton
Electronics, "The Pixim Digital Pixel System technology is the best
solution for ensuring PVM and other security camera images are clear
and color-accurate and unaffected by direct sunlight, strong backlight
or reflections."
Also, these Pixim-based Clinton video security products feature
application presets, which allow customers to pre-program and
standardize camera settings across all of their locations.
"Clinton is deploying Pixim-powered PVMs and security cameras
strategically and broadly in major retailers throughout the U.S.," said
John Monti, vice president of marketing and business development,
Pixim.
He further added, "Clinton has already achieved great success with
many large retailers that are household names - and I suspect the
success of their Pixim-powered line of products will continue gaining
momentum as other retailers learn of the advantages these products
deliver."
The Pixim technology powered product line from Clinton include the
CE-20PVM-WD, CE-26PVM-WD and CE-32PVM-WD Public View Monitors; the
CE-CC118WD Color Wide Dynamic Box Camera; and the CE-VFCD918-WD Color
Wide Dynamic Slim Dome Camera.
